Logon using your email address and password. To modify email settings such as changing your password or configuring the spam filter (Box Trapper), click "more e-mail options).
Logon Screen: Whether you are checking your email from a remote location or modifying your email options, you will need to log on each time. NOTE: If you are logging on from a remote location, we recommend NOT choosing "remember my password". If you are logging on from home then remembering password will help cut out one step in the process.
Control Panel: After you have logged on you will see three different web mail interfaces and multiple configuration options. To choose either simply click on the option you want.
Change Password: Self explanatory here. Just remember to click "Save Password" when you are finished. NOTE: If you change your password here, you will need to modify your settings of your email client application such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Incredimail, Etc.
Spam Filter (Box Trapper): This is your spam filter. All spam is held here in a
queue. The queue works as a temporary folder that holds email that hasn't been
categorized as either legitimate email or spam. If you would like to see the spam filter verification in action, send an email to spamme@cpucorp.net More details on each are explained below.
Edit Forward/White/Black/Ignore Lists: This is the heart of your spam filter. From here you can manually set people in the white list or black list. For example, if you want to make sure someone always gets through you can add their email address to your white list. If, on the other hand, you want to make sure their email never comes through you can add their email address to the black or ignore lists. IF you want your email to be forwarded to another email address of yours, you can add your other email address to the forward list. Forward List = forward ALL
email to another email address (Either another cpucorp.net or hotmail account,
etc.)
Box Trapper Configuration Settings: By default our server keeps a log of all spam for 15 days. You can modify these settings if needed. Depending on the amount of spam you are getting and how much space they are taking up on our server, we may reduce this time (down to 3 days) as needed.
INFORMATION & FUTURE UPDATES: Spam Along with our new email servers, we have a all new spam filter that will stop all spam and we plan to activate this service June 1st. We have been testing this new service for two years and it has proven to be the best spam filter around. With it's easy user interface and simple design, you should have no problem customizing it to suit your needs. Web mail: Yes, we still offer we mail. We have our favorite interface "Squirrel Mail" which is a closer match to the familiar Outlook Express and we have two other interfaces to choose from as well. These other optional interfaces are found by click the "more email options" link on our home page. More Email Options: This link is found on our home page. This allows you to enable / disable the spam filter (Known as Box Trapper). You can customize white lists and black lists and ignore lists. Other things you can do are: setup email forwarding, change your password and much more.
